Penn State Football: Defensive line pressure shows versatility in win

Four different Penn State football defensive linemen came up with sacks in the 56-44 win over Nebraska Saturday. The Nittany Lions have compiled 33 sacks as a team this year, but no player has more than four. Lead pass rusher Shareef Miller managed to add to his total with a half a sack, but the other contributors showed off their skills as well.

Robert Windsor, Kevin Givens and Tyrell Chavis each recorded a sack in the win. Those three represent more of what defensive coordinator Brent Pry’s defense is trying to get done.

He can bring pressure from more than just a few pass rushers, and it’s why the defense is so successful.
