Two coordinators have left Penn State already this offseason, and now another is reportedly a head-coaching candidate.
Nittany Lions defensive coordinator Brent Pry is “among those getting consideration” for Louisiana-Lafayette’s vacancy, according to Fox Sports’ Bruce Feldman. Pry served as the Ragin’ Cajuns’ defensive coordinator from 2002-06.
Should Pry land and accept the job, he would be third coach to leave Happy Valley this offseason. Former offensive coordinator Joe Moorhead took the head coaching job at Mississippi State, and special teams coordinator Charles Huff followed him to Starkville.
Pry, who came with James Franklin from Vanderbilt to Penn State in 2014, has been the Nittany Lions’ defensive coordinator the past two seasons.
