A pro football career revitalization awaits former NFL and Penn State football quarterback Christian Hackenberg in the newly established Alliance of American Football (AAF) when the inaugural season begins this weekend. Hackenberg was selected in the second round of the AAF Draft by the Memphis Express after going through one of the weirder NFL tenures.
Despite being taken with the 51st overall pick by the New York Jets in 2016, he never got on the field in a regular season game. He struggled through his preseason opportunities and ultimately the Jets moved on from him this past summer via trade.
