Sunday’s much-anticipated pro football debut for quarterback Christian Hackenberg didn’t go well. The Memphis Express signal caller and former Penn State football three-year starter completed just 10-of-23 passes for 87 yards and an interception in a 26-0, shutout loss to the Birmingham Iron. For his critics, this proved the why he didn’t play a down in the NFL. To be fair, it was his first chance to play live football in three years.
Despite a tough performance, he’s slated to start at 7 p.m. tonight in a home game against the Arizona Hotshots (Courtesy of NYDailyNews).
