The Tampa Bay Buccaneers didn’t take long to notice Penn State football’s Chris Godwin. In one short year, he worked his way into a lineup that features two all-pros and another rising, former undrafted free agent. Now, he’s getting reps with essentially the first team. Head coach Dirk Koetter told the Tampa Bay Times that he believes the team has four starters (Article link courtesy of Tampa Bay Times). Godwin has played like a starter since he entered the NFL.
Godwin caught 34 passes for 525 yards and one touchdown as a rookie. Most of that came from the second half of the season.
