A promising future awaits Penn State football wide receiver Brandon Polk. DaeSean Hamilton heads to the NFL and Saeed Blacknall graduates, leaving the door open for another pass catcher. Polk naturally should step into the role.
Polk caught 10 passes for 130 yards and a touchdown in 2017. Not the greatest numbers, but he’s an experienced pass catcher who will be a redshirt junior. He contributed on offense in each year as a Nittany Lion.
During his first year of extensive action at receiver in 2017, he showed off nice route running and speed. When he caught passes, defensive backs were nowhere to be found.
