Saquon Barkley represents a special talent in Penn State football’s offense. Every fan Nittany Lions’ fan knows that a player like Barkley doesn’t come around often. Unfortunately for his backups, they aren’t able to get reps because of his playmaking.
Sophomore running Andre Robinson represents one of three talented backups for Barkley. After redshirting in 2015, Robinson became somewhat of a touchdown ballhawk this past year. On just 31 total touches, he scored six touchdowns (five rushing, one receiving).
Robinson did most of his damage during garbage time in 2016, but he made some plays in key moments as well.
