The fun and games are over for Penn State football. Not to take anything away from their current progress of being a 5-0 team, which considers them to be a top ten program in the nation right now. But Penn State’s ‘cupcake’ part of the schedule is out of the way.
With games against Idaho, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Maryland, and Purdue, many considered Penn State’s first five games as a walk in the park. Considering the point differential between Penn State and its opponents during that time, we can’t really deny that fact.
Those games were against easy opponents.
