The Penn State football program had one final opportunity to host High School prospects this week in order to make a lasting impression. As preparation for the 2019 NCAA football season begins, another recruiting dead period will take place for the entire month of August. Therefore, the Nittany Lions had to make their final recruiting event count this past weekend.
The Lasch Bash barbecue came and went, as many prospects visited Happy Valley to workout, receive offers, and meet the Lions’ staff for the first, second, or tenth time. For Penn State 2020 four-star tight end prospect Theo Johnson, it was his fifth time on campus.
