July is winding down, and the NCAA football season is vastly approaching. This past weekend, Penn State football and the rest of the Big Ten opened and closed their media days in Chicago. Now they are set focusing on the 2019 NCAA season. Soon, the Nittany Lions will all be in Happy Valley gearing up for the season. Right now, though, the focus remains on recruiting.
For the last month or so, the college football dead period kicked in. After a disastrous start to the summer for PSU and the 2020 recruiting class, the slow period of the offseason treated the Lions well.
