Penn State football: 4 Players that stood out to James Franklin vs. Purdue

By now, Penn State football is looking towards their next opponent in Iowa — but last week’s matchup had to be discussed one last time on Tuesday. Per usual, James Franklin held his weekly press conference on Tuesday afternoon to discuss last week’s game heading into this week’s.

Although Franklin was slightly disappointed in the way Penn State finished last week, he’s overall happy with the outcome, as Penn State put a beatdown on Purdue, which resulted in a 35-7 win over the Boilermakers.

The Nittany Lions started off quick in the matchup, but eventually, their offense slowed up later on in the game and only managed to score seven second-half points, which doesn’t really balance out with the 28 first-half points the team accomplished.
