For the first time in two weeks, Penn State football was able to take the field for a little Friday night competition. Due to the bye week, the team had the opportunity to take a step back and reset without the worry of playing a game after a hard-fought matchup against Pittsburgh.
The coaches had the opportunity to get some recruiting done, while the players had a chance to review some film and get some light practices in. Then, the Nittany Lions returned to their practice facility last Saturday and returned to their regular-season schedule.
Heading into their week five matchup, many couldn’t really predict the Friday night matchup against Maryland.
