It’s never too early to start working on the future. At least that’s how Penn State football prospect Nick Dawkins thinks. Back in April, the Allentown, Pennsylvania offensive lineman gave the Nittany Lions his word, as he committed to the University for the 2020 recruiting class.
Nowadays, you can never be so sure if a High School athlete is one-hundred percent set on their future or not. As we know in Happy Valley, the Nittany Lions have had their fair share of turnarounds. In June alone, they dealt with four losses from de-commitments.
Some players jump the gun and fall in love with the first school they visit, only to eventually grow sick of it.
