Offensive line has been a big need for Penn State football over the past few seasons. Despite success in other areas, the Nittany Lions have struggled to find consistent play up front. Things have certainly improved from just a few short years ago, thanks in large part to the recruiting efforts of James Franklin and his staff.
Penn State has continued to heavily recruit offensive linemen and look for the best talent available in the country.
The 2019 recruiting class for the Nittany Lions contains three offensive linemen, each are among the top at their positions. Anthony Whigan is one of the best offensive tackles in the country, while Caedan Wallace is among the top guards.
