Wide receiver DeAndre Thompkins is entering his final year with Penn State football and will once again be a very important member of the Nittany Lions. From playing receiver to contributing on special teams, Thompkins is a key for Penn State.
Thompkins brings a lot of experience after making 15 starts at wide receiver over the past two seasons. 2018 will mark his fifth season with the Nittany Lions after receiving a red shirt as a true freshman in 2014.
A four-star recruit out of high school, Thompkins was the No. 10 prospect from the state of North Carolina.
