In the never-ending Penn State football defensive depth, senior corner Christian Campbell rises to the top of the depth chart. Campbell entered Happy Valley and began seeing time in his true freshman season. However, he never quite took over the starting cornerback job.
The veteran contributed well over his first three seasons recording 57 total tackles, two interceptions and 10 pass break-ups. Furthermore, Campbell saw his time and production rise in each season culminating in a career year in 2016.
Campbell didn’t might not have a star-studded career, but he’s lived up to expectation.
