Two weeks ago, the idea of beating Minnesota four times in a row and earning a spot in the NCAA Tournament seemed far-fetched.
After Saturday, that idea became a reality.
Penn State fought its way back from a third period deficit to steal game two 6-5 and sweep the Big Ten Quarterfinals.
Freshman Evan Barratt was a major focal point coming into this series after his physical performance last weekend against the Gophers.
After another physical game, Barratt came through late when Penn State needed it the most.
With the game tied 5-5 with less than nine minutes to go , Barratt tapped home his own rebound to give the Nittany Lions the lead.
