In No. 16 Penn State’s match against No. 7 Michigan, it was outplayed on both sides of the ball en route to a 6-0 loss.
Throughout the entire game, the Nittany Lions generated few chances offensively outside of the team's penalty corners. Defensively, the Nittany Lions gave up six goals, three in the third quarter alone.
Coach Lisa Bervinchak Love was fired up after the game and talked about how the team had to start competing from the very beginning.
“The message to the team was we have to compete,” Bervinchak Love said. “We have to care about each game.
