The beginning of the season featured some growing pains for the Nittany Lions, as they struggled to find their identity amid tough competition.
“We had a slow start,” coach Lisa Bervinchak Love said. “We really had a competitive schedule out of conference, which is only going to help us.”
Since then, the tide has turned for the blue and white.
