With the regular season coming to an end, Penn State fencing is gearing up for its final test before the postseason.
On Saturday, the Nittany Lions will travel to Temple in Philadelphia for the season’s last meet, where they will face St. John’s, Princeton, Brown, University of Pennsylvania, Stevens (men only) and Temple (women only).
While this weekend’s competition does not feature the same powerhouses that made up previous meets, the team is not taking it lightly.
“It’s our last tournament before regionals,” women’s sabre captain Teodora Kakhiani said, “so I think it’s really important to make sure everyone is at their 100 percent.
