Just under two weeks ago, Penn State men’s hockey was welcomed back to Happy Valley, with fans lining Pegula Ice Arena at midnight to greet the victors. The time didn’t seem to affect these blue and white fanatics, as the team had just defeated UConn in double overtime to win the Allentown Regional final.
The Nittany Lions advanced to the Frozen Four for the first time in program history.
Celebrating this appearance was no struggle for State College. Fans were encouraged to head to Pegula to watch Penn State’s Frozen Four semifinals matchup against Boston University on Thursday.
