In somewhat expected news, Penn State defensive end Shareef Miller has decided to enter the NFL draft and will not return for his senior season. Miller made the announcement following Penn State’s 27-24 loss to Kentucky in the Citrus Bowl.
Miller has been a major part of the Penn State defense since his resdshirt freshman season in 2016, and has started at defensive end the past two years.
Despite added attention from opponents, Miller’s numbers steadily increased in each of his three years of play at Penn State. As a redshirt junior, he finished the regular season with 33 tackles, 14 TFLs and seven sacks and a fumble recovery.
