Wide receiver Emery Simmons continues to do it all for the South View (NC) Tigers. In a nail biting 33-32 victory, Simmons two carries for 33 yards and five receptions for 76 yards. He also had four tackles, an interception, four pass breakups, and he threw a touchdown pass.
In Virginia, running back Devyn Ford and the North Stafford Wolverines advanced to the state semi-finals with a 46-21 victory. Ford finished the game with 170 yards rushing, 51 yards receiving, and he scored four total touchdowns.
Unfortunately for future Nittany Lion defensive back Keaton Ellis and the State College High Little Lions, their season came to an end at the hands of the Pine-Richland Rams over the weekend.
