CHICAGO -- Cael Sanderson will be staying put at Penn State.
The multi-time national champion and leader of the Nittany Lions wrestling has signed a new contract with the school, athletic director Sandy Barbour said on Tuesday.
His previous contract expired in June, but negotiations took a little longer than expected to wrap up.
"Cael and Penn State have executed a new long term agreement," Barbour said.
"What Cael and our wrestling program has done is absolutely spectacular, but there was never an issue, there was never a concern. It was a matter of getting to the right place.
