Battle lines were drawn early on when it came to who supported, and who did not support, satellite camps in college football, and the reaction to a ruling that bans them on Friday is unsurprisingly falling along those party lines.
The SEC, ACC, and others were elated when news broke around lunch time that the NCAA Division I Council had voted to stop the practice of college coaches traveling to another institution to assist with instruction and clinics in the name of recruiting, effective immediately. The Big Ten, American Athletic Conference, and many others were not as pleased.
