Penn State basketball received some great news on Monday regarding their 2020 recruiting class. With 37 offers currently out there for the 2020 class, the Nittany Lions have landed a verbal commitment from one of their offered three-star prospects. According to 247 Sports, the Lions are getting a top 50 shooting guard in Dallion Johnson for the 2020 season.
Johnson, who will be coming out of Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts happens to be the number one ranked player in his state, according to the 247 composites. During his Junior year at the Academy, Johnson averaged about 20 points-per-game in 24 total games.
