Penn State head coach Patrick Chambers had to know that a game with No. 5 Michigan State would be tough, he just might not have imagined it would be as tough as it was on Sunday. The Nittany Lions, despite being in front of a good home crowd, were unable to hang with the Spartans and were dominated in a 92-65 loss.
The Nittany Lions never held a lead in the game and struggled to shoot the ball all day long. Penn State shot just 41 percent from the field and really struggled from behind the arc, converting on just three of 14 three-point attempts.
