With Penn State basketball’s 2018-19 season officially over, it’s not too early to begin looking ahead to next year. Early in the year, the Nittany Lions are already set to head to the Big Apple to play in one of the premier early-season college tournaments. Over the week of Thanksgiving, the head coach Patrick Chambers and his squad will take part in the NIT Season Tip-Off.
Dating back to 1985, the NIT Season Tip-Off has been played in New York City every year. Traditionally played at Madison Square Garden, the event moved to the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn five years ago.
