The Penn State Nittany Lions were playing well, but ran into a tough Michigan State team Sunday. After winning three straight games, Penn State was dominated 88-57 by the Spartans. Still battling for a spot in the NIT, Penn State will look to rebound against a Northwestern team that’s dropped three of the last four games.
Head coach Patrick Chambers was tossed during the first half in East Lansing after arguing a foul call. Things had already been going downhill for the Nittany Lions, as Michigan State came out of the gate hot. Now that’s he’s had a few days to process, Chambers will be back on the bench trying to direct his young squad to a strong finish.
