The Penn State Nittany Lions will look to end a two-game skid in the final game of the regular season Sunday. The Illinois Fighting Illini visit the Bryce Jordan Center for the first match between the teams this season. Penn State, currently in the No. 10 spot in the Big Ten, will look to stay there and receive a bye in the first round of next week’s Big Ten Tournament.
A disappointing loss was the result the last time out, as the Nittany Lions fell 71-61 at home to Northwestern Thursday. Head coach Patrick Chambers saw his team’s postseason chances takes a hit with that loss, but Penn State could still nab a spot in the NIT with a good showing in Indianapolis next week.
