After sweeping the season series with Ohio State last season things didn’t start well for Penn State this year. The Nittany Lions faced the Buckeyes in Columbus on Monday night and struggled for much of the game. Penn State got close a few times but were ultimately defeated 66-46.
Penn State had trouble shooting the ball and never really got into the game. Forward Brandon Taylor led the team with 11 points. Point guard Shep Garner was held to a season-low three points. The best overall performance came from Payton Banks, who finished with nine points and a team-high six rebounds.
