Penn State Basketball: Nittany Lions Continue to Struggle, Fall at Purdue

Penn State’s brutal stretch of Big Ten games continued at Purdue on Wednesday night. After losses against Maryland, Michigan and Michigan State, the Nittany Lions faced another tough battle with the Boilermakes. The Nittany Lions struggled inside of Mackey Arena and were dominated by a score of 74-57.

The Nittany Lions started the scoring first with a three-pointer from forward Brandon Taylor in the first minute. However, the 3-0 lead was the only lead they would hold all night. Taylor was one of the few bright spots for the Nittany Lions, finishing with a game-high 21 points.

Guard Shep Garner struggled for much of the night, scoring just two points and committing six turnovers in the first half.
