Head coach Patrick Chambers can’t be happy with Penn State’s performance on Saturday. In front of a striped-out Bryce Jordan Center, the Nittany Lions struggled the entire day and ultimately lost 70-68 against Rutgers. The win for the Scarlet Knights was just their fifth win in the Big Ten since becoming a member and their first-ever Big Ten road win.
Penn State took an early 6-5 lead, but unfortunately, it was the only lead the Nittany Lions would have all day.
The Nittany Lions found themselves down double-digits midway through the second half, but were able to claw all the way back.
