The last time the Penn State Nittany Lions played a special game in Rec Hall, things didn’t work out. However, there was a different outcome on Thursday as Penn State held the lead the entire game and was able to close out the 81-67 victory inside the intimate confines of Rec Hall.
Penn State scored first and never looked back. Though things got close near the end when Canisius was able to cut the lead to single digits. However, the Nittany Lions were able to seal the deal when it counted.
After a poor shooting performance in Tuesday’s loss at George Washington, the Nittany Lions were hot from the floor tonight, converting 28 of 50 attempts from the floor for an impressive 56 percent.
