The Penn State Nittany Lions won their third-straight game on Saturday with a 81-70 victory over the Eastern Michigan Eagles. Senior forward Brandon Taylor led the way with a career-high 27 points. He also added a team-high 12 rebounds.
It was a great game for Taylor after he recorded just two points in Wednesday’s win at Boston College. He’s spent much of the season as Penn State’s top scorer and showed why on Saturday.
Star guard Shep Garner, fresh off his career-high 30-point performance on Wednesday struggled early in this one. Eastern Michigan clearly came out with a gameplay to shut Garner down.
