Penn State’s bats finally exploded.
The Nittany Lions (7-10) saw production from their entire lineup during their weekend series against Niagara (3-17) at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.
The Lions won their final two games Saturday against the Purple Eagles, 4-1 and 16-4, respectively, after dropping Friday’s series opener 4-3.

“We finally started to see our guys swing the bats like we can,” coach Rob Cooper said. “When you’re playing with a little bit of a lead, it allows you to relax a little bit.”
