Prior to this weekend’s opening series, a trio of Penn State players earned Big Ten preseason honors, which was announced on Wednesday.
Coming off impressive seasons in 2017, outfielders Jordan Bowersox and Mason Nadeau were recognized of Big Ten coaches as they head into the new campaign.
Junior pitcher Justin Hagenman was also on the conference’s list of preseason honorees.
Prior to missing the end of last season with an injury, Bowersox enjoyed a breakout sophomore campaign, leading the blue and white in batting average, slugging percentage and on base percentage.
