Penn State baseball stunned at home by Lafayette

Coming off of a dominant 10-5 nonconference victory over St. Bonaventure on Tuesday evening, Penn State looked to continue its hot start with another contest just 24 hours later as it welcomed Lafayette to Medlar Field at Lubrano Park on Wednesday.

Penn State was stunned by a two-win Lafayette team as the Leopards won 5-3.

Skip Shenosky took the mound, looking to improve upon his 1-1 record and 10.50 ERA. After recording the first out of the evening and walking a batter, eventually being picked off in a run-down, Shenosky remained calm and escaped the inning unscathed.
