Sine we’ve began covering the Penn State baseball team after a hot 13-3 start on the season, the Nittany Lions have gone just 2-6 on the season and are 0-5 in conference play. So yeah, we may or may not have cursed Penn State baseball.
Since our last installment, Penn State has gone 1-3 as they dropped both their last games last weekend against Purdue before picking up a win over Bucknell on Tuesday. On Wednesday, they were blown out by St. Bonaventure 18-6.
For the Nittany Lions, the problem in their losses this season usually hasn’t been pitching, but they’re overall lack of hitting and inability to drive in runs.
