Penn State baseball had a tough time on the west coast this weekend, as they dropped their Big Ten series against UCLA.

The Nittany Lions fell short to the Bruins, 6-3, Sunday afternoon at Jackie Robinson Stadium in Los Angeles, California.

Designated hitter Jack Porter, who has had a hit in each game this series, opened up the batting for Penn State with a clean single to center field. An RBI single from left fielder Jesse Jaconski brought in center fielder Paxton Kling, who reached first after being hit by UCLA pitcher Landon Stump. This put the Nittany Lions up 1-0 in the top of the first inning.
