After taking the first game 11-1 over Longwood, Penn State returned to the field for the back half of the doubleheader against the Lancers.
The Nittany Lions’ offensive firepower remained strong in the second game, pulling off a double-header mercy rule as they defeated Longwood, 10-0.
Both teams started off slow, with neither offense getting anything going through the first two innings.
Penn State pitcher, Mason Horwat escaped the second inning without giving up any runs, while Longwood’s Guillermo Garcia Jr. limited the offense.
Paxton Kling’s power was a major headliner of the first game against Longwood, and the Roaring Springs, Pennsylvania, native was showing off his power once again in the second game.
