Penn State baseball begins practice in Holuba Hall for 2016 season preparation

While the sudden jolt of a brisk wintry mix or a muggy rainfall isn’t ideal weather for baseball conditions, Holuba Hall is a good substitute for Penn State until the sunshine is brighter at University Park.

“Seventy degrees and sunny here in Holuba, so we’re ready to go,” coach Rob Cooper said of his team’s practice facility. “If we picked up the university and moved it to Orlando, Florida, we’d do the exact same thing.”

The Nittany Lions are just getting warmed up to play ball, patiently awaiting their first game of the season against Monmouth on Feb.
