Penn State Athletics has forwarded concerns raised by women's hockey players to the university's Office of Ethics and Compliance, the athletic department said Friday.
This news comes two months after a Collegian report in which former players and those with knowledge of the current program said coach Josh Brandwene emotionally abused players.
The Office of Ethics and Compliance works with other university offices to create ethical guidelines and coordinate training and educational resources for employees, among other duties.
The compliance office includes athletics integrity officer Julie Del Giorno, whose position was created as part of the university's compliance with the Athletics Integrity Agreement between the NCAA, the Big Ten and Penn State.
