Penn State alumnus, Philadelphia police officer hits halfcourt shot at Sixers game | Centre Daily Times

Penn State alumnus Brian Patterson made the shot of his life.

Patterson, who graduated from Penn State in 2012, was given an opportunity to attempt a halfcourt shot at Wednesday’s Sixers game against the Bulls at the Wells Fargo Center. He drained it, winning the entire arena free Chick-Fil-A chicken biscuits.

“I kind of just started jumping around,” Patterson told the Sixers. “I guess it was just tunnel vision. I heard the crowd. I felt like the shot was short, but it ended up going in. I don’t know. I just started jumping around and made sure I looked at the Sixers bench, made sure they saw it.
