Penn State dispatched Buffalo 87-64 in its final tuneup before Big Ten play.
It was a sluggish start to the game for both sides, with just 10 points combined in the first six minutes. YKN scored 4 early points to give the Lions a 6-4 lead. D’Marco Dunn added two layups and a steal two minutes later to extend the lead to 11-6. Penn State led 13-6 at the midway point of the first half.
The offenses started to wake up a bit later in the half, and Buffalo continued to hang around despite PSU building a 9-point lead.
