The Nittany Lions played their last game of the season, about a month and a half overdue. No one wold blame Penn State if they showed up like a team that has wanted the season to end for about a month and a half. And, at first, that’s exactly what it looked like. Wisconsin opened up the game on a 16-3 run, made their first five threes, and was poised to run away with the contest early.
Fortunately for the Lions, the offense finally woke up in the middle of the first half, but at that point it was already too late.
