In its first game as an underdog, Penn State men’s basketball (6-1) fell to Clemson (6-1) Tuesday afternoon in the Sunshine Slam Championship Game.
The Nittany Lions turned the ball over 17 times and failed to convert enough of their three-point attempts, ending a six-game undefeated streak.
Ace Baldwin Jr. and Yanic Konan Niederhauser opened up scoring for Penn State with a smooth alley-oop on the game's first possession.
YKN, however, struggled in the early going, committing a turnover and offensive foul on consecutive possessions, sending him to the bench in favor of Kachi Nzeh.
