In my opinion, Saturday was Penn State’s best win under James Franklin. The Nittany Lions trailed a 3-0 team in Minnesota by ten at halftime, they trailed with less than a minute to go and having no timeouts left, and yet Penn State still emerged victorious.
At times on Saturday things looked bleak. However, the Penn State Nittany Lions never gave up. Here are Penn State’s players of the game from Saturday’s overtime victory.
Offense – Quarterback Trace McSorley
Not everything Trace McSorley did on Saturday was good. He had some brutal under-throws and missed some open receivers.
