On the same day that he was named to the Big Team’s first team offense by the conference’s coach, Penn State tight end Pat Freiermuth has also been named the Big Ten Kwalick-Clark Tight End of the Year.
Freiermuth took home the award despite playing in just four games this season. In these four games Freiermuth caught 23 passes for 310 yards and a touchdown. He also went over 100 yards receiving against Nebraska in his final game of the season.
While he has not announced his intentions the belief is that Freiermuth will declare for the NFL Draft in the spring.
