Pass rusher Abdul Carter won't work out at Penn State pro day

NFL teams hoping to test Penn State's Abdul Carter on the field will have to wait a little longer. The edge rusher and top draft prospect won't be participating in the school's pro day Friday, Carter's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

"He is still finishing up rehab on the shoulder injury he had from the Boise State game," Rosenhaus told Schefter on Thursday. "He may still do a workout for teams sometime in mid-April."

In addition to the arm/shoulder injury sustained in the College Football Playoff quarterfinals, Carter was also revealed to have a stress reaction in his right foot through medical testing at the NFL scouting combine in February.
